April 25 was the date for the English Double Rise championship held at Nottingham Gun Club. Again two shooters from A6 CTC were successful in taking wins at the championship. Dave Waddington shot 94/232 to take equal 3 rd place overall and "A" class. This necessitated a shoot off between Dave and Terry Humpreys which was lost by missing 2 birds in the shoot off to Terry's one.
Andy was successful in taking the Junior Title with a score of 90/223.
